Holiday Wednesday

I realized Easter is just around the corner and that I needed some Easter cards so for the next couple of weeks Easter cards will be featured on my Holiday Wednesday post.
Today's card was done using Cross & Blossoms by Paper inspirations. I'd seen this stamp at my lss for a long time and finally decided to get it.

It is colored all with distress inks: spun sugar, barn door, tattered rose, brushed corduroy, peeled pain, scattered straw, tumbled glass and milled lavender and stamped on water color paper. There is white pen on the edges of the flowers and for accent on the cross. Stickles are used on the butterfly path. The butterfly is a punch. The big flower has diamond glaze with clear beads and then some gold beads over that. The dp is by basic grey. The gold and purple card stock are both metallic.
I also made a card using one of my house mouse stamps, Monica,  this evening, I won the challenge on the House Mouse blog this week. And while you are there check out their latest challenge.

I used my two smallest nestabilities for around Monica and then doodled with my white pen.  The card is folded in half and then the front is folded down. Monica is colored with copics. The notes are stamped with a rose chalk ink. Here is the card opened:

The dp is some I found at JoAnn Fabrics. I thought it turned out cute - simple but cute.
Hope you enjoy.
I really enjoy reading all your comments. They just make my day.
