Stream

I decided to try another brayer card. It is fun using old techniques.
I brayered the background with Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze then stamped a stubby stamper stamp  . I added just a littlc color with copics to the rocks and trees. The stream is highlighted with a white pen and star dust stickles. The trees have flower soft heather on them. The dots were done by running the cardstock through the bigshot with an embossing folder and then using the brayer with denim distress ink. I outlined the blue die cut with the white ink pen. The trim is some I got at Target's One Spot. You never know what you will find there.

Santas

There is a new stamp over at Stubby Stampers here . To celebrate there is a special going on as well. Use the coupon SANTA until Saturday and get 25% off.
Here are the cards I made with this great stamp.

To color or not to color that is the question. Such a versatile stamp.

Sunset

There was a challenge on the stubby stampers yahoo group to use a brayer. I hadn't used mine in forever so I thought I would give it a try.
Here is my first attempt:
I decided it needed a little dressing up so I changed it a bit here:
I did the background with the Kaledicolor Bouquet inkpad by running the brayer on the inkpad. Using glossy cardstock I kept picking the brayer up slightly and moving it around in a bit of a circular motion and keeping the green in almost the same spot and letting the blue move around the outside. The butterflies are peel-off stickers from Magenta. I have no idea if they still make them.
In the first card I just colored the image from stubby stampers with peel-off markers.
In the second card I stamped the image again and colored the chairs and one pot with copic markers and cut them out and glued them on top. For the small tree on the second card I mixed strawberry flower soft with a bit of sweet pea flower soft and glued it on with diamond glaze.
Personally I like the second card better but either works well.
Get your brayer out and see what you can create.

Good Tidings

One group I belong to challenges us to make all our Christmas cards in July. I doubt I do that but here is a start.

The stamp is from Stubby Stampers here. It is colored with peerless water colors. The center is beads from JudiKins. I used lots of scrap paper. The very center strip is ribbon with nailhead stickers. The writing is freehand.
Have you started your Christmas cards? :)

Relaxation

A coworker had a birthday on Saturday so I made her this card.

The image is from the angel company. How I miss that  company.
The image is colored with copics. The bubbles in the tub are done with liquid applique and glitter. The big bubble that she is holding has diamond glaze on it.
The dp is from basic grey.
