A Trio of Maculine cards

The car was colored with copics. The dp is from the black tie basic grey collection. The ribbons are from the See Spot Save section at Target. Got a great deal on them - they were marked down 75%. The lights have some diamond glaze added.

I love this tiger stamp. It is one of my favorites for masculine cards. I colored him with copics. For the eyes I added Twinkling H2O's so they sparkle a bit. The dp and label are from basic grey's black tie collection
.

This card was colored with copics. The ball is covered with diamond glaze. The background is on DCWV cardstock. The tee is stamped on with versamark and then sanded lightly so the stamped image starts to appear. The ribbon is more from Target.

Flower Pot

This pot is from a retired stamp set from the angel company. I stamped it on the white label and then again on a scrap piece of white. I colored them with my copics. The flowers are done on flower soft wires. I put flower soft glue on the wires and then covered them with fuchsia flower soft. The spikes of leaves are done by cutting very narrow pieces of green paper and the angling the ends. The wires are glued down and then the pot is glued on top. The butterfly is a peel off colored with peel off markers. The dp is from the wisteria collection from basic grey.

"Cat"astrophe

I had this card all done yesterday except for putting the dew drops on when I had to go to work. When I came home the card was not on the desk where I left it but was on the floor with a prisma color pencil glued to the sea shell with the diamond glaze I had applied to it. One of my cats who shall remain nameless except for if you have ever seen the fairy in Peter Pan has the same name had been up on my desk "playing"

Anyway back to the card. The stamp is from the angel company. It is stamped twice and colored with prisma color pencils. I cut out the seashell and mounted it with foam tape. Then I put on the diamond glaze and sprinkled a couple of colors of pink glitter in spots on the sea shell. The background paper is done by pulling the edge of versamagic dew drops across glossy paper using several colors to make a plaid. I used a corner punch put the background paper in and added the pearl baubles to the corners. The ribbon is from the see spot save section at Target. You just never know what you will find there. And then I added the pink dew drops on the ribbon.

Emily's Tree

I made this card for my dd who turns 26 tomorrow which is quite a feat as I am only 25. I colored the tree with prisma color pencils. The ovals are with nestabilities and the corners are sizzix dies. I punched holes in each scallop. I added a bit of flower soft under the tree. The stamp is from hero arts. The pearls are bella baubles. The dp is basic grey. The pin has some seed beads and silver flower beads added.

Lighthouse

I have to say this is one of my favorite stamps especially for guys. It just seems so strong. I colored the lighthouse and water with copics. The roof is colored with a copper pen with a bit of black sharpie. I used my big shot for the scalloped ovals. I can't wait to be able to purchase some more shapes. The dp is from basic grey. The glitter for the light is a glow in the dark and it does. In the daylight it is glittery without much color.

Buttons and Bows

This card has a two fold purpose - one is a reverse layering challenge and the other is a button and bow flutterby card for Danni's Butterfly Wednesday challenge. The butterfly is from a set from the angel company. It is colored with prisma color pencils and highlighted with souffle pens. I did a pin ala Susan Dube. I'm not sure if that added to the card or not but there it is. The dp is from basic grey. I was listening to Simon and Garfunkle as I made this card and was feeling rather melancholy. My dd is at the University I went to for two weeks. I used to listen to S & G while there so I was going on a trip down memory lane.

Little Cupcakes

This cupcake is from the angel company and is colored with copics with a touch of stickles added for some glitz. Love glitz. The lacy background is chalk dragging. Instead of using a torn piece of paper I punched an edge and then dragged the chalk across it. The rest of the dp is from basic grey.

The layout is from a sketch challenge. The cupcake is from the angel company also and is colored with copics. with a touch of stickles on the frosting. The little circle is from bmuse. The dp is from basic grey. Can you tell I love basic grey.

Issac

Isn't he just the cutest little boy. His clothes are colored with copics, his skin and skate board are with prismacolor pencils. The dp is from basic grey. I don't remember where I got the star brads - maybe Target's dollar section. I added just a touch of diamond glaze to the star on his shirt.

Sea Scape

The challenge for this card was to use chalk dragging. I have used this technique before but had forgotten about it. You tear a piece of paper and then drag the chalk over the paper onto the cardstock doing this with several different colors. I used shades of blue, green and purple and then used those colors to color the stamped image. The stamp is from the angel company. The image is colored with prisma colored pencils and then painted with twinkling H2)'s. I added some beads to a pin and then tied it on with the ribbon. I added bella baubbles to the corners. The dp is from the oh baby girl collection by basic grey.

Fruit Collage

I just love this stamp set. Both were colored with copics and a touch of prisma color pencils. On the raspberries I used my big shot to cut out corners only I put them together with the straight edges together. I applied stickles to the raspberries. Really pretty simple but it looks so elegant.
On the strawberry I added diamond glaze and glitter. The edges of the checkered paper was done with and edge punch done all the way across. The little hearts are from hero arts. The top ribbon is stapled with the fastenator.
