Fight

I have a couple of friends who are fighting breast cancer so this is for one of them. I will make another one soon.
The image is from Whimsie Doodles here. Hope is colored in copics. I had a bit of trouble with smearing. I don't know why I don't usually when I use a digi. I changed papers and that helped. It was just on the face so maybe it was because there is so much ink on the eyes and freckles. I designed the Fight like a girl myself on the computer. The gloves have glitter on them. I got that idea from someone who put glitter on Tilda's boxing gloves. Wish I could remember who to give credit to. The dp is from basic grey. The ribbon has a copper brad through it. The flowers have copper nail heads for centers as well as a couple of nail heads over the left hand side of the image. Hope you enjoy.

Tilda on a bike

Doesn't Tilda look like she is having fun? I made this card for Book Endz here. We read the book Where the River Ends by Patti Callahan Henry. In the opening scene the girl, Meriday is riding her new pink bike with her lime green party dress on - it did not make her mother happy. Later in the book there is an incident with fireworks so I gave Tilda a sparkler to hold instead of the heart lollipop. I seem to be into altering Tildas lately.
Hope you enjoy my creation. Thanks for leaving comments. They really make my day.

Kite Tilda

I was looking through my collection of Tildas and realized I hadn't used this Tilda - ever - shameful I know. So here is Tilda flying a kite.

She is a challenge to put on a card as she is so big.
I paper pieced Tilda's top and kite. She is colored with copics as is the background. The snail is a little clip that my dd gave me for Christmas.
I even decorated the inside - something I don't do too often.

Hope you enjoyed the card.

Two Tildas as one

This card was so fun to make. I wanted to use a sitting Tilda but didn't have one that was quite what I wanted so I took the head of one mini Tilda and put it on the body of another.

I just didn't want to use that hat as it is too much like Christmas and I knew I wanted to use the balloon so I decided to use the head of balloon Tilda on the cross stitch heart Tilda.

I put Tilda's hair behind her arm on the one side but on the other I put her hair in front of the braid. Of course I had to carefully trim the hair so it would look right together.

I drew in some balloon strings.

Here is the finished card. I colored over the hair between the braid and the other Tilda to make it blend better. Hope you enjoyed this short tutorial on combining heads and bodies. lol

Tilda with heart

Boy am I on a roll - well I did have motivation. My cousin wanted to buy 6 cards so I had to work and get these done before Valentine's day. This is the last I think. So nice to have someone appreciate your work enough to pay money for it.

Tilda is colored with copics. The lace on the dress has frosted lace stickles. There are a rectangle stampabilites die and the heart die. Lots of sewing. Some baker's twine, lace sprayed with cherry blossom walnut ink and some flowers with pearls finish it off.

I made this card for the vintage/shabby chic challenge over at http://magnolia-licioushighlites.blogspot.com/.
I usually don't do this style as I usually do brighter colors but this was lots of fun.

Tilda Sparkles with Hearts

I won this stamp form Sunday Sensations (see the sidebar for the link and your chance to win).

I decided to add the hearts to go with the inspiration picture below. I saw someone else put hearts in the sparkles but don't remember where. Tilda is colored with copics. The hearts are brads. The yellow floral paper is from basic grey that I downloaded from their site. The green has some swirls made by a stamp from the angel company.  The flowers are from You've Got Flowers? with yellow stickles for centers.

Jumping Tilda

I made this card for a woman who broke her ankle. I thought I would have the inside say something like hope you are up and hopping around real soon.

I like how Tilda looks like she is jumping out of the frame. The aqua dp is some I won is a blog give away and have no idea who makes it but it has a shimmer to it. The swirls are a die cut from memory box. The flowers which really match much better in real life are from prima flowers with some rhinestones in the middle. Tilda is colored with copics and has some star dust stickles on the lace.
Hope your day is hoppin' good.
