Early Spring Tilda

As I was driving home from work the other night I was thinking about what card I wanted to  make next this idea came into my head. How about a spring card only one when it is till very cool but the flowers are just coming out so I could use Tilda with Darlecoat but in a bright color. So this is what I came up with:

Tilda has her coat and mittens on as it is cool and she even has her boots because it is muddy. But the sun is coming out from behind the clouds and she is happy.
Tilda is colored with copics except the green lines on her coat are done with prisma color pencils. I placed Tilda in front of the lady bug on the fence because it is early spring and there wouldn't be too many bugs out yet. There is diamond glaze with a little glitter along the fence and grass for some early dew. The clouds were masked so that the sun would appear to be peaking from behind. The sun is from garden joy by the angel company. It is actually a flower. It reminds me of the children's story, When the Sun Rose by Barbra Berger that I used to read to my kids when they were small. The sun in the book is a rose or a rose is the sun. All the dp is from basic grey, mostly from the Oh Baby Boy and O Baby Girl collections. O used buttons as embellishments and not flowers because I didn't want it to look to warm with lots of flowers. The little pearls on the clouds were placed there because I thought the clouds looked too white or bare or something.
Hope you enjoy my creation as much as I did making it and thinking about how to accomplish it.
