Edwin and Tilda Skating

I purchased several Magnolia stamps before and after Christmas and have only just had time to start playing with them.  They are just so sweet. I love their innocence.

The pair are colored with copics except the bottom of their skates which were done with prisma color pencils because I didn't think I could get that small of detail with the copics. Maybe when I am more experienced.  The pond was cut out of mirror cardstock using nestabilities and then edged with white applique. The snow falling is white applique also. Tilda's coat and the pompom on Edwin's hat have white funflock on them. The trees behind are from a stamp set, camp out, by the angel company. They are stamped with green stazon and then colored over with prisma color pencils. At first I was going to put buttons in the corners but happened to find the rhinestone snowflakes that I got at JoAnn's for $1.00 and thought they worked much better.
I enjoy reading your comments.  They mean a lot.
