Candle Tilda

I am going to try to do a Christmas card or a holiday card of some sort every Wednesday so here is my first try.  I think this stamp is actually called Christmas Morning but because I think this card could be used for either Christmas or Valentine's Day I called the card Candle Tilda. If you would use if for Valentine's Day you could put something about You Light Up My Life, Valentine.  My dd would say that is so corny but I probably wouldn't give it to her anyway.  She is colored with copics. The headband and candle base have gold stickles on them. The candle and the eyelets of the dress use crystal stickles. The white prima rose is colored with copics and then stickles added. The dp is from basic grey. I don't remember where the heart dots are from - maybe hero arts.

Peggy, this is a lovely card and while it reads a little more Christmas to me (my daughter always wore a red nightie at Christmas), I am sure it could be used for either Christmas or Valentine's Day, depending on papers and embellishments. Lovely card!

She's adorable! This Tilda could be used for any occasion. However, I think this card would be most appropriate for Valentine's Day given the dp with the hearts on it. Great job!

I love how you colored the prima. I love this image and all of the reds, too. I think that depending on the verse, she could go either way. I think Christmas when I see the card, to be honest, but if the sentiment/verse were Valentine's or love related, I'm sure I would be swayed. LOL - Gina L

Hi Peggy! So nice to run into a Pa. gal. I was born in Butler. It's the prettiest state in the country! :o) I have been to Pittsburg once to see the Osmonds in concert when I was a teenager. LOL! Your card turned out just beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
