Calendar 2010 September - December

Finally after a marathon stamping day because of the snow I was able to finish the calendars. Two are for me - one for home and one for my desk at church the others for friends and family. All stamps are by the angel company and all images were colored with prisma color pencils.

You can't see the dp very well but it is a double sided paper by bo bunny. The apple over the month is felt from the see spot save section at Target.  It is colored with Bic Mark-it markers.

This dp is the other side of the paper on September's pages.  The swirls are cut using a sizzix die.  The pumpkin is another felt piece for the same container as the apple above and colored in the same way.

Now you get to see how the calendar is put together using a Bind-it-All.  I used a 1/2" wire but really could have used a 3/4" or maybe an 1" but I didn't have those sizes on hand and my lss is closed at 10:30 pm on Fridays - all days for that matter. There little square bling from pez-a- doodle over the month.

The last month.  Yeah! Little beads are in the middle of the stamped poinsettia with lots of stickles around and through it. The holly is stamped as well. The paper poinsettia over the month is from hero arts. The dp is from bobunny the green is the reverse of the scalloped red.

And here is the cover.
One word of warning if you decide to make one of these calendars. Don't put heavy bling within an inch of the edge that is to be punched or if you do put it on after the page is punched. I forgot and had to take a few pieces off and then reapply them after I punched.  The calendar pages are from vippies. I got mine at my lss but you can purchase them on line, I think.

Wonderful calendars. What a beautiful gift and a great idea. Something to think about doing for next year...even if I only get one done for my desk.
