Gnomes

 Gnomes

I love gnomes and creating scenes. This card combines the two. The gnomes are from Unity's Gnome Matter What and colored with copics. The couch was paper pieced from a Unity paper. The picture is stamped in green and embossed with clear embossing powder. In the center dot and outer dots are Nuvo drops dragon scales. The stamp is from the November 2018 KOTM. The packages are from October 2020 KOTM. They were actually on the seat of a moped. I just cut off the moped. They are colored with Copics and a drop of Stickles on the star. The window is a die from Spellbinders. The black paper behind the window is splattered with white paint. The wood grain is from a Unity paper pack.

Keep a bit of whimsy in your heart this Christmas and keep stamping!

Poinsettia

Poinsettia

I love poinsettias so this card was a natural. I stamped Tin Tile Background with VersaFine Clair Chianti and then embossed it using clear embossing powder. Next I smeared Adriondack Cranberry all over it. I stamped Paper Poinsettias with black. It took a few times of stamping over the embossed tin tile because it was embossed. Next the poinsettia was cut out. Glued the smaller one over the big one. I put sequins in the center. The leaves were stamped on a patterned paper. All stamps are from Unity.

Enjoy the season with all the color.

 Mitten

The mitten stamp is from the October 2021 KOTM and the snowflakes are from the September 2021 KOTM by Unity. The snowflakes are embossed with white diamond embossing powder.  Merry is from the Heart of Christmas coordinating die. There are three layers glued together. An organza ribbon is tied around the square layer before the mitten was mounted with foam tape.

Stay warm and keep stamping!

 Snowman Ornament

Unity has the cutest snowmen and this one is no exception. He is from the Love to my Heart. I cut off the penguin so he would fit in this ornament. He is colored with copics and has wink of stella to give him some sparkle. He is popped up on foam tape. The ornaments are from the Ornate Ornaments toner card front and foiled with denim decofoil. The trees in the background are done with Ornamental Pines stamp and stencil bundle. Merry is done with the Heart of Christmas die set by foiling the silver on the plain foil front and foiled with silver. The navy card topper has wink of stella added to it to give lots of sparkle.

Hope you enjoy this card. It was lots of fun to create.

I have been absent from the blogger world for a long time. I plan on changing that. I've still been creating though.  Right now I've been doing a lot of bee cards so let's get started.

Next year is my 50th class reunion - not possible - I'm only 25. lol I thought I would maybe volunteer to make the invitations. This card was created using a Tim Holtz honeycomb die. The bees are a stamp I have had forever. It's from Nestling. I have no idea whether that company even exists anymore. The 50th is cut out using my cricut. Hope to be back tomorrow with another creation.

Random Cards

Here a few cards I have made over the last few months. The stamps are all from Unity - my new obsession. I'm going to try to post on my blog again.
If you have any questions about how I created these let me know.

Sweatshirt Girl

I'm waiting for sweatshirt weather. Fall is my favorite time of the year.

All stamps are from Unity. The background was stamped first in white brilliance but that didn't show up enough so then I stamped it in a yellow oxide ink and that didn't really show up enough either and finally I tried burnt umber palette ink and that was dark enough. I used my misti so a bit of the yellow still is visible whether because the ink spread just a little or the paper shifted a bit. I stamped the girl in the yellow oxide ink as well and then did a bit of no line coloring. I think I need to practice a bit more but it isn't bad. I added the layers of other papers and put on a few sequins. I always have trouble figuring out if I put too many or not enough on. Hmm.
Hope you have a wonderful day.

Feathers

I think I'm getting on board with all the feather stamps. This has to be one of the prettiest feather stamps I've seen.

I stamped the feathers with distress oxide. The word is a die from memory box.  The layers are done with dies by my favorite things. Added some ribbon and then done.
Thanks for looking.

Bicycle Guy

You can tell I like this stamp as I used him in my last post.
I stamped this guy and then I stamped the bicycle over him. He is colored with copics. The designer paper is some old basic grey I had laying beside my paper cutter. Good to use up scraps. Added some blue drops on the top and bottom.

Here us another card using the same stamp set as the bicycle without the bicycle. lol No coloring here - I know amazing. I did add some sequins to this guy card.

Hope I provided a little inspiration for your guy cards

Fire Guy

I never have enough guy stamps so when I saw this stamp from Unity I knew I had to have him.
This is a technique from the past that I haven't used in years. I stamped him on glossy card stock using versa mark watermark stamp pad. Then I held it over a burning candle to get the soot on the card stock. When I had covered the card stock with soot I took a kleenex and wiped off the excess. You notice I even burned the edges. That's where you have to be really careful not to burn everything including your fingers and anything else. lol I added some sequins in the corners. I die cut the banner and stamped the words with the versamark and then used a cottonball and added gray chalk.
