Precious Gift

I usually don't make cards with just words but tonight I did to try out some new supplies I just got at my local stamp store.

The water colors are done with Peerless water colors on water color paper. The top layer is white paper glued onto 2mm foam and then cut out with a nestabilities die cut. The words are from Stubby Stampers. The little feet are a punch. A ribbon adds just the right touch and also hides where I didn't make the paper/foam quite wide enough in one spot. lol There are no mistakes!
Fun and easy!

Bundle of Joy

Don't you just love new babies? Maybe everyone doesn't but I do. I love kids of all ages. They can be a handful at times but always a heartfull. And as I have a new granddaughter this is perfect. With that in mind here is my latest card.
The image is from Stubby Stampers here. The image is colored with copics. The little bit of pink around the image is a die cut from www.mftstamps.com. The yellow is a die cut from spelllbinders. I don't know where the patterned paper is from - no name on the back. The flowers are from miscellaneous companies. The flowers have rhinestones for centers and around the edges. There are some above the words as well. I may have to do this image for a boy as well just for fun.
Hope you enjoy!

All that Jazz

My son-in-law plays the saxophone so this card was made with him in mind.

I had recently seen a card using Kraft paper and white and knew it would work well for this image. It is embossed with white diamond embossing powder. The "Kraft" paper is a printed card stock I got at Target. The image itself was stamped on the wrong side of the printed card stock. The image is from Stubby Stampers. They have soooo... many great stamps. The piece of ribbon is left over from a Christening dress I made for my granddaughter. You just never know what you are going to use or need for a card.

Americana 2

I can now announce to the world that I am on the design team for Stubby Stampers. They have 4000+ timeless images.
Here is the card I created to celebrate.
The images were stamped and then a sheet of scor-tape was put over them. Silk microfine glitter (warm diamond) by Elizabeth was spread over the images. The images were colored with Zig markers. They are pretty cool as they have two colors on each end of the same marker. The dp is from basic grey. The flags are done with washi tape and wrapped around scrapper's floss.
Here is a close-up of the images:

Hope you enjoy! I certainly enjoy and appreciate your comments.

Americana

I just got some stamps from Stubby Stampers, so of course I had to play.

As these are rather small stamps I decided to use colored pencils to color then added some stickles to each one. There is a red layer die cut around each image and then the blue. The die cut is from spellbinders. I thought the corners needed to be rounded instead of square like the die cut. I added some bows in the fourth square. You can find the stamp set here. I will be doing some more cards with this stamp set as there are lots of stamps on this sheet.

Princess

Here is another stamp I hadn't used before. I won this one and wasn't sure I was crazy about it but it worked up so cute.
This Princess Tilda is colored with copics and paper pieced. The crown is gold paper with stardust stickles and pink stickles for the jewels on top. The dress also has stickles at the hem of the dress and the sleeves. The candy dots have stickles added to them as well. Got to have lots of glitter. lol The burgundy frame is done with spellbinders.  The corners of the white paper are punched with a mcgill punch, I think. The flower in the corner is from Magnolia. I took a couple of layers off because I though it was a bit big. I threaded the ribbon through the lace. The dp is from a 6 x 6 basic grey paper pad.
Hope you enjoy.

Cabin

I'm trying to use some of my stamps that I have never used before. Some days I buy quicker than I have time to use them. :)
This is another stubby stampers stamp http://www.stubbystampers.com/shopping/stamps/scenes.htm The image appears to be a winter scene but I made it into a spring or summer as I am tired of winter. I love winter but it is time for it to go.  The image is colored with copics. The moon has clear wink of Stella on it and the stars are done with yellow stickles. I wrote the word blessings by had using a white pen. I added a bit of white pen to the roof as well and then colored it over again with Y00.
I enjoy reading your comments.

Cupcake

I bought this stamp because I needed a few more stamps to make it worth the shipping charges. When I stamped it to make the card I thought "wow" I really do like this stamp. lol

The stamp is from stubby stampers http://www.stubbystampers.com/shopping/stamps/food/sweets.html. With over 4000 stamps there is sure to be something you like.
The image is colored with copics and yellow stickles on the stars. The blue has Stella wink glitter pen on it.
A little bit of ribbon and some star brads are the embellishments.
The yellow dp is from bobunny. The blue is from JoAnn's, I think.
The die cuts are from spellbinders.

Make a Wish

I have been working on some calendars but haven't finished them so haven't posted in a while. On facebook I was challenged to do 5 cards in 5 days so here is the first.

The stamp is from Cat's Meow that is no longer in existence :(. I stamped it on a basic grey tag. The flower has stickles on it. The flag is done with  a die cut - can't remember which company - then I wrote happy birthday on it. I put a bead in the middle of the tag hole The little dodad by the bow is from a broken piece of jewelry.
Hopefully, I'll see you tomorrow.
