I made this card for our music director at church. He is a phenomenal piano player. He also teaches voice and piano. I did cut off Edwin's wings because I wasn't quite sure he would like those. As I was doing this and thinking about making guy cards I was musing about other Edwins I would like to see. How about handy man Edwin or camper Edwin or how about a motorcyclist Edwin. As much as I love Tilda it would be fun to see some more Edwins doing different things.
Edwin was colored with copics. I think I need some more grey stamps as it was a challenge to do the black hair and pants, but I think it worked just the same.The music is done with a stamp from Me & Carrie Lou. I know someone recently bought this line of stamps but I can't find them just now. The vase is from a gift with purchase from the angel company. The vase has diamond glaze applied. The dp is from basic grey - black tie and jack collections. The red dots are nail heads.

I agree that there needs to be more Edwin images. I find I'm always making masculine cards and I'm always struggling with images, oh and embellishments. You did a beautiful job with this card and I'm sure your director will love it.

Hello Peggie, OHHHHH! Adorable Edwin. I love it. Gorgeous coloring, I love how you did his pants, I have still so much trouble with black and grey, my blending is not as I wish it would look. Your lay-out is very cute, and the music sheet adds just the perfect detail.

This is a beautiful card. I have admired that piano and think I will be adding that to my collection one of these days. You did a great job - and I agree with your choice of seeing more Edwin - like how about a Train Edwin, or Computer Edwin?? Those are things my hubby is into! TFS

I have only made one masculine card and I baled and used a House Mouse image! I don't have any Edwin stamps but really think I will get some after seeing the fabulous job you did. What a handsome card. All the elements just say "masculine" and are perfect! Wonderful job!
