Just thought I would share the knitting project I just finished. Knitting is my usual activity on the bus when I am going downtown to work. Knitting is the only creative project I can do on the bus. All my other crafts have way too many parts to come along on a crowded bus.
This was created for my dd's friend who is going off to college on Saturday. My dd is sad because she has to wait another week and a half before she goes. I still haven't decided how I feel about my baby going off to school without me and to my alma mater. So many memories.

Beautiful work! I never learned to knit, can't seem to wrap my head around all of those stitches coming off of 2 sticks! (In other words, I am forever amazed!)
Absolutely beautiful. I love lace knitting - my absolute favorite. You did a beautiful job and I am sure your dd's friend will feel the love as she wraps up in it. (P.S. Thanks for the nice words on my blog candy win!)
