Edwin sledding

What a fun card it is to make too. I used the directions from here. It is called a wiper card. Not quite sure except maybe that it wipes up when it is opened.  Here is a picture of the card closed.

I used Edwin sledding. He is colored with copics. The cuffs and hat have white fun flock on them. The fence is cut out of the Magnolia background stamp from the summer collection. Couldn't have ladybugs or grass in a winter scene. lol The trees are from Santa Rosa and stamped with staz-on green. The trees and the fence have white applique with polar flower soft over the white applique for  snow. Edwin and the fence are popped up with foam tape. The background paper is from basic grey. The little snowflake rhinestones are from JoAnn's dollar section. Around the edge of the dp are dots and dashes with a white pen. They don't show up too well.

Here is the card opened:

The snowflake on the pop-up is from the angel company.

I was doing this wiper card for a challenge. When I went back and read all the directions it was supposed to be for spring. I guess with over 30 inches of snow on the ground I can't think of spring just yet. I'll have to try another one with a spring design. One word of caution when making this card - make sure everything lines up just as perfectly as you can make it so it lays flat. I don't have a score pal which would make it easier, I'm sure.
