Rainy Day Tilda

Well like this Tilda I have been dealing with lots of water. Only my water has been pouring into my family room from the ice jam in my gutters. Fortunately, it seems to have stopped but not before it ruined the insulation, carpeting and flooring. Thank heavens for insurance.  Anyway back to Tilda.  She is done for a couple of challenges. One was to do a bright colored Tilda for the yahoo group home page. The other was to do a pop-up card at http://magnolia-licioushighlites.blogspot.com/. Hope you enjoy my versions.

 

Tilda was colored with copics except for the nails which was done in metallic silver prisma color pencil.  The background is a Magnolia summer background. Tilda was popped out using foam tape.  There are crystal stickles on the lace of the umbrella and the raindrops.  The orange/red dp is from basic grey.

Here is Tilda in the sunshine after the rain dried up.  Tilda's flowers are done with sweet pea flower soft and then autumn flower soft. Tilda's wings and shoes were painted with Angel Wings Shimmerz. The sun is an old, old stamp from Art Gone Wild, I think.  Here is another view of the pop-up.
