It's still winter even though Christmas is long over. As a matter of fact we are supposed to get a major snowstorm tomorrow through Saturday. Here's hoping. I would love to curl up and watch a movie or read a book with no place to go for a change. So for today I created two snowmen cards.
I stamped this guy twice. It is a from a stamp set called a warm hello from the angel company. Colored the bottom layer with prisma color pencils and then cut out just the snowman and popped him up with foam tape. There red stickles on the hat and hearts and crystal stickles on the snowflakes. The big snowflake is a brad and it has crystal stickles on it also. In the corner is a little red heart brad. The shapes are a label nestabilities. The swirl is one I found floating on my table and it just seemed to fit. It is a sizzix die. The little silver heart tied to the red organza ribbon is from see spot save at Target. I told my boss at Target that Target should pay me for advertising for them. lol The dp is from basic grey.
This snowman is from the same stamp set as above and colored with prisma color pencils.I can say almost the same thing as above - dp from basic grey, stickles, ribbon from Target, nestabilites. This one has string of pearls baubles on the side. a warm hello is stamped twice - once in light brown and then again in a darker brown.

Love the dimension on the first card. The colors on the second card are lovely.
So cute Peggie--love snowman, HATE the snow! We already have 6 inches on the ground and expecting 30 more--blech!

these cards are beautiful Peggie! and I love how you are still doing winter/holiday cards, why not!
Really cute, Peggy. The snow just started here, north of Philly. We were just upped to 18-20 inches, falling 1-3 inches an hour, and the storm could last 24-36 hours. That adds up to a lot more than
20 inches and I am glad I do not have to go out. Great cards!
What cute, cute cards, love the snowmen.
Hugs, Christine
How stinkin sweet they are! What cute faces and I love your designs and all the glitter! So much fun!

Susan
