Here is the second installment of calendar 2010. I love May's soft colors. The image is from tac and is colored with prisma color pencils. I used a labels nestabilities and then used the cutout for the calendar side. Stickles and diamond glaze are used for highlights.
Another tac image as are all the ones I have used so far. Isn't this cat too funny. I don't think he knows or cares that there are mice lurking behind the flowers. The scalloped ovals are done with nestabilities. The blue one has some doodles around the edge. The white one has holes punched out of each scallop.
This pelican image is a current stamp from the exotic birds stamp set. The shell on the other side is a retired image. All are colored with prisma color pencils and highlighted with stickles. The ribbon is tied around a pin with some beads through it. The shell has some pine punched out behind it and some pearls added to it.
And last but not least is August. The butterfly is from seeds of blessings which I think is still current with tac. The butterfly is colored with prisma color pencils adn has stickles added for highlights. I do like stickles. The flower is a series of plastic flowers on a brad.
Join me next time for the last installment of Calendar 2010.
