Honey Teddy

I don't think I purchased this paper and this stamp together but they sure belong together.

The image from Great Impressions is colored with copics. The dp is from bo bunny. The little dragonfly is a charm that my daughter had gotten when she used to do hairwraps. I got her collection of charms. Lucky me!
Hope you have a honey of day.

Kitty Pumpkins

It is fall and pumpkins rule! lol. I love anything pumpkin. I make pumpkin soup, pumpkin muffins; I think I'll try some pumpkin yogurt. So of course I make pumpkin cards.
The image is from Great Impressions and colored with copic markers. The pumpkins have diamond glaze and glitter sprinkled over it. The dp is from bobunny. The edges around the image are done with Stardust stickles. Brown dotted ribbon and a circle clip finish it off.

Just in case you would like it here is my pumpkin soup recipe:

Cider Pumpkin Soup

¼ cup of margarine                                             1 cup chopped onion
¼ teaspoon ginger                                                ½ teaspoon ground cumin
2 garlic cloves, minced                                       1 ½ cups apple cider
1/4 cup maple syrup                                           1 (29-ounce) can pumpkin
1 (14-ounce) can chicken broth                        ¾ cups milk
1 pint half and half                                             1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
                Broccoli
                Sausage

  1. Heat a large Dutch oven over medium high heat, melt margarine.  Add
onion, ginger, cumin, and garlic cloves and sausage sauté 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Add flour.
Slowly stir in cider, syrup, pumpkin, and broth bring to a boil.  Reduce heat, and simmer
10 minutes.
Stir in milk; and add broccoli cook until thoroughly
heated (do not boil), stirring frequently.

Peter, Peter

For one of my yahoo groups there was a challenge to make a card with a nursery rhyme in mind. Here is mine.
As you can probably tell it is Peter, Peter had a wife and couldn't keep her,
So he put her in a pumpkin shell and there he kept her very well.
The pumpkin scene is from Great Expectations and colored with copic markers. The mice are from a couple of different House mouse stamps. The dp is from an old Basic Grey collection. It was always one of my favorites. The circle clip has a piece of fiber running through it. Then there is some twill ribbon running behind the image.
Hope your pumpkins are being put to better use than keeping someone - like making pumpkin pie.
