Cool House Mouse

I just received this stamp from an on-line stamping buddy, Eve. Thanks so much. It is just adorable.

I colored this image with copics and prismacolor pencils. I have a hard time getting those tiny grasses done with the copics so I used pencils. The glasses have diamond glaze applied to them. The little umbrellas have stickles except for the green one which has a spica (sp) pen on it. The sand has some flower soft sand applied to it. The sea shells are brads from Eve as well as are the pearls in the corner. The umbrella I got from someplace - sorry I don't remember where. The dp is from the lemonade collection of basic grey.  Hope you enjoy.

Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop - June

It is the 25th of the month and time for our monthly Christmas blog hop. If you came here from Nadyne's blog here you are on the right track. I love white and gold together for Christmas so here is my card using those colors.

Tilda is colored with copics. Her dress just has a touch of C1 on it and stardust stickles. I used a couple of different embossing folders for the whites. The merry is from a stamp  set by the angel company and embossed with Egyptian gold. The cut out for merry was from memory box while the one behind Tilda is a nestabilities. The gold oval was cut out using - oh I forget what it is called right now. It is getting late. Merry is fastened with brads. The pearls are from embellashiments. Here is a picture without the glare from the gold.

Each of the golds are different colors in real life. Tilda's dress is a different white than the other whites.
Here is a view of the inside - very simple.

Hope you enjoyed the card. Next up is Tanya. You can see her wonderful creation here.

Rise and Shine

Oh is this stamp out of my comfort zone. I just don't do roosters. lol. But for some reason this stamp called my  name. I know who I will send the card to. My girlfriend from high school who tells me I grunted all the way to school when we walked together. She will get a kick out of it I know.

I went on line to find pictures of roosters to figure out how to color it. He is done with copics. The sun has stardust stickles applied. Got to have some sparkle. I got to use some scraps to frame the rooster. The green was already torn even. There are little lines done with the score-it-all and then I made red lines with copics. Added some dew drops and a swirly paper clip. The stamp is from the angel company.
Please let me know what you think of this card. So different from what I have been doing.

Tilda with Tree

My kids got me a couple of trees for Mother's Day, rather late, but that is alright. I planted them this evening. One is a dogwood and the other a Japanese maple. This card goes right along with them.

I colored Tilda with distress inks and then added some Twinkling H2o's to the dress and wings. The leaves, tree and flower border are done with memory box dies. The butterfly is done with a Martha Stewart punch. Tilda is popped up with foam tape. Her lace has crystal stickles added and there are pink stickles on the flowers of the border and silver stickles for the body of the butterfly. The silver dots are nailhead stickers.

Here is a close-up of the leaves.
And a close-up of Tilda.

Star duster Tilda

Three posts in three days - wow! I haven't done that in quite sometime. There probably won't be a post tomorrow  as I work tonight and tomorrow and then have to get things ready for my Sunday School lesson. Here is  my card.

I think this Tilda is called Spellbinder. I saw this die cut from memory box and knew the two had to go together. No I did not paste on all this little stars. I cut them out using the die cut and then put the gold sparkly paper behind the cut outs. The blue paper is edged with some dark blue chalk ink and then around the cut out areas of the stars. I added some stardust stickles to the gold for more shimmers. Tilda is colored with copics. Her apron and shoes have crystal stickles added. The blue dp is from memory box and the pink is from bo bunny. I put red and pink stickles in the grass which by the way is a die cut from my favorite things. Really it is supposed to be waves but I though it could pass for grass in the wind. I added some flowers and pearls. Oh and Tilda's wand was paper pieced with the same gold paper as the stars.
Here is a close-up of the stars.

Hope you enjoyed this card. I will be showing lots more different die cuts from memory box as I got carried away and bought several.
This card is done for the Anything Goes Challenge at Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge here.
It is also for the summer challenge over at All that Scraps here.

Beach Kitty

I just love this stamp set from the angel company. Not sure why because I hate spending time at the beach because I always get burned. The set is called Summer Fibi & Lilly. If you are interested in purchasing it just let me know and I can order it for you.

It is colored with copics. The pail has diamond glaze on it. The sand has the mini sand flower soft on it and some glitter. The starfish has stardust stickles. The dp is also from the angel company and is called Emma. I used two labels from the dp collection and stamped Happy Birthday on them using red brick chalk ink. I also used the same ink to edge the yellow dp. Added a bow and some buttons.
Hope you enjoy this creation.

Strawberries

I love strawberries and they are in season here now. I have been eating lots. And who can complain when they are so good for you. So in honor of strawberries I used the new strawberry Tilda on my card.

This is a gatefold card, held shut by the flowers. Tilda is colored with copics. The strawberries and lace have stardust stickles on them. The boots have diamond glaze. The fence is done with a Martha Stewart punch. The dp is from bo bunny.
Here is a picture of the card half open.

And of a picture of the inside.

Hope you enjoyed today's card. I'm off to eat some strawberries.

Graduate Edwin

Life has been very busy lately. I had to have my dog put to sleep. She was 16 years old and I think she had a stroke. Poor thing was so tired and having trouble moving her back quarters. It was time but oh so sad.
Then I had to get my dd ready to go to Boy Scout Camp. She is going to work there this summer. I think this is a hoot. She will be in a Boy Scout uniform and driving a truck. This is my daughter who puts on a dress and says it makes her so happy. I want to be a fly on the wall and see how she does.

Anyway I finally made time to make another card.

Isn't Edwin just so proud of his accomplishment, as well he should be, it takes a lot of hard work to graduate. He is colored with copics. I used a white pen to make the details of his shoes shoe up. I have trouble in really small areas using the copics. The red glitter is from art institute glittering system. The glitter on the tassel and the stars are stickles. The stars are from a retired angel company set. The dp is  from basic grey and the banner was done with word.

Here are a couple of pics of the inside.

Now you can see it with the gift card.  Now to get it mailed out.
I really enjoy your comment; they do lift my spirits.

Graduate Tilda

With graduations in full swing I have lots of graduation cards to make. Here is one I just finished.

This girl's high school colors are red and white. Tilda is colored with copics. The words are stamped with an angel company stamp. The red under the nestabilities is covered with glitter. You will see lots of stray red glitter if you look closely. The red dots are colored nail head stickers. Those are two rows of ribbon right next to each other.  I added a star paper clip near the top. This girl is rather a tom boy so no flowers here.
Here is a picture of the inside.

Hope you enjoyed my creation for today. I do love reading all your comments.
