Butterfly

I love butterflies and butterfly stamps. This one spoke my name and said please take me home with you. So I did. The paper is from basic grey, another of my loves. They just make the prettiest papers. The butterfly is colored with prismacolor pencils and highlighted with crystal stickles.

Here is a card I just did. I should send it to my dd who tells me she is always good. Notice the paper piecing even down to the shoes. The shoes are so cute I wish I had a pair like them but they would probably make my thick ankles look thicker. The stamp is a Bella

I saw this stamp in my lss yesterday and just had to have it. It is from Great Impressions. I colored with prismacolor pencils. I had to use a white eraser on the wing because I got a little too much color on it. The little hearts are rhinestone stickers. The first background is stamped with swirls from the angel company. There is organza ribbon on the side.

Valentine's Day Card

The challenge was to make a Valentine's Day card without using the traditional colors of red or pink. I was at a lossas to what to do, so was surprised when this turned out so well. The heart stamp is from Stampington & Company and the swirls on the side are from the angel company. The background paper is basic grey - one of my favorite paper companies. The big heart is mounted on an 1 1/2" square chipboard and the heart detail is on a 1" square chipboard.

January

Every year I create some calendars for family and friends. Here is January's. I can't believe January is almost over. This snowman is perfect for today because it is cold and snowy here. The pompom on the snowman's hat is done with funflock. He is colored with prismacolor pencils. The ribbon is some that my daughter left lay after Christmas and then I added some little snowflake sequins from hero arts. The stamp is from the angel company.

Here is a card I recently made using a retired stamp set from the angel company. The bear is colored using prismacolor pencils. The patterned paper is from basic grey. I added brads and organza ribbon for more color and texture.

Welcome to my world

This is my first time trying a blog so please bear with me while I get this set up.
