Camo Graduate

I made this card for a guy who enjoys the outdoors.

Edwin is colored with copics and his gown and cap are paper pieced. Everything but the card itself and the camo paper were scraps I found around my desk. I need to use more scraps. The triangle is dry embossed in a wood design from Tim Holtz, I think. I added that after I had finished the card because it was too rectangular. The die cut is from spellbinders and has a black nailhead sticker in the middle. Hope you enjoy.

Rain

I found this die by memory box at my local stamp store and knew I just had to have it because I have many rain related stamps. Here is the first of many cards to be made with it.

There was a challenge over at the Stubby Stampers yahoo group to use purple, blue and yellow. The stamps are all from stubby stampers. The birds are all stamped on a yellow polka dot paper and accented with copic markers. The cut outs are all accented with stickles as are the center of the flowers which are from prima. I wrote the saying around the border. In case you can't read it it says "Life is not waiting for the storm to pass.. it's dancing in the rain!!!I'm entering this card at Your Scrapbook Place challenge anything goes here.
Enjoy your rain days!

Precious Gift

I usually don't make cards with just words but tonight I did to try out some new supplies I just got at my local stamp store.

The water colors are done with Peerless water colors on water color paper. The top layer is white paper glued onto 2mm foam and then cut out with a nestabilities die cut. The words are from Stubby Stampers. The little feet are a punch. A ribbon adds just the right touch and also hides where I didn't make the paper/foam quite wide enough in one spot. lol There are no mistakes!
Fun and easy!

Bundle of Joy

Don't you just love new babies? Maybe everyone doesn't but I do. I love kids of all ages. They can be a handful at times but always a heartfull. And as I have a new granddaughter this is perfect. With that in mind here is my latest card.
The image is from Stubby Stampers here. The image is colored with copics. The little bit of pink around the image is a die cut from www.mftstamps.com. The yellow is a die cut from spelllbinders. I don't know where the patterned paper is from - no name on the back. The flowers are from miscellaneous companies. The flowers have rhinestones for centers and around the edges. There are some above the words as well. I may have to do this image for a boy as well just for fun.
Hope you enjoy!
